6 important New year health resolutions

Happy New Year!

It’s a tradition of do an evaluation at the end of each year to access performance and growth which enables one to plan ahead including the habits to drop and pick up in the new year that would enable one to reach the set goals. This new year, 2022 is not an exception, the diary and journals are already almost full of plans and goals to achieve for each quarter of the year.

Have you ever intentionally included your health in the new year resolutions or goals?

It’s easy to neglect this aspect of one’s life and just go ahead of “securing the bag” depending on what “the bag” means to you. Here is a reminder to include it in the plans and goals for the year because it’s only the healthy that can secure the bag bearing in mind that health is a state of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. The truth is there are some health challenges we have faces than could have been prevented if only we took the right measures, if you can prevent, then why not right?

• Cut down on sugars. • Take time alone to self reflect. This is a very implantmost ignored habit, always remember that you can’t do everything and learn whento say No plus appreciate your little efforts and celebrate your small wins.Don’t beat yourself up because you couldn’t achieve some of your set goals. Youare never too late, you will ways shine in your own time.

• Try out a new hobby. Enjoy life to the fullest

• Go for health check up at least twice a year. Don’t waittill you breakdown completely, sometimes there may not be a glaring warningsignal until you go for checkup and you find that bug at the early stage.
